Olly Murs Goes To No. 1 In Singles Chart

Former X Factor contestant knocks this year's finalists off top spot...

Former X Factor contestant Olly Murs has scored his third solo UK No. 1 single with Dance With Me Tonight.

The singer, who now hosts The Xtra Factor, rose one place to knock The X Factor Finalists 2011 off the top of the Official UK Singles Chart with their charity cover of Wishing On A Star - which dropped to No. 2.


Lloyd was a new entry in third with Dedication To My Ex while Rihanna's We Found Love dropped to No.4 and Flo Rida's Good Feeling fell to No. 5.

Over in the Official UK Albums Chart Amy Winehouse scored a posthumous No. 1 with Lioness: Hidden Treasures, knocking Olly off the top spot and sending his In Case You Didn't Know down to No. 4.

Michael Bublé stayed still at No. 2 with his Christmas album while Rebecca Ferguson had a new entry at No. 3 with Heaven.

The top five was rounded out by Rihanna's Talk That Talk.
