Well that’s it then - The X Factor is over for another year! Little Mix are the very worthy winners, but what about the runner up?
Marcus Collins
didn’t win the show, but the ever-smiling contestant has admitted that
he still had a blast being part of the show and reaching the final.
“Tonight is best night of my entire life,” Marcus told Caroline Flack and Olly Murs on The Xtra Factor.
Marcus also admitted that he loved the challenge of being in the final,
“I enjoyed singing seven songs, I challenged myself,” he said.
Talking about the future Marcus said he hoped to have a career in music, “I’m going to work so hard he said.” And if mentor Gary Barlow
has any say in things Marcus will be the next big thing in music. Gary
told Marcus that he could call him for advice anytime, and he also said
that he’d make sure Marcus got the right record deal, the right songs
and the right album. We wouldn’t be surprised if Gary got so involved
with Marcus’ post-X Factor career that he’ll ensure Marcus’ stylist picks out the right socks!
We’re sure that Marcus has a bright future ahead of him, if X Factor runners up like JLS and Olly Murs are anything to go by he’ll be a chart topping pop star in this time next year!
