X Factor viewers may have thought that Amelia Lily was a shoo-in for this year's crown after the HMV fiasco earlier this week, but if the bookies are right then it's Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowland who will be disappointed, as Little Mix emerge as favourites.
All the finalists all been favourites to win at one point or another,
but with just two days to go until the X Factor final, the fact that
Little Mix are the most fancied bodes well for
Tulisa Contostavlos' band.
Amelia - mentored by
Kelly Rowland - and Marcus - mentored by
Gary Barlow - look set for disappointment after Little Mix were tipped by the bookmakers to storm to victory this weekend.
Leading
online betting comparison site Oddschecker looked at prices across 23
leading bookies and confirmed that the girl band remain the favourites
to become the only group to ever take the X Factor crown, at a best
price 13/10.
It wasn't always such a sure-thing for
Little Mix.
At the beginning of the X Factor live shows in October, a successful
£10 bet on the girls to win would have given punters an impressive £700
return. This week, the same bet would earn just £13.
Tulisa
continues to support her 'Little Muffins', telling journalists gathered
at an X Factor press conference today: 'I'm the youngest judge. It's my
first year and I want to change X Factor history with my little muffins.
'The
thing is about these girls, if they got that record deal, they wouldn't
just be bringing music to the UK, they would be inspiring lots of women
across the country, young and old.
'They would make a difference to people's lives.'
The live final will take place at Wembley Arena on Saturday and Sunday, airing from 8pm on ITV1 on both nights.
