Axed Christine will take Holly Willoughby's place on the ITV1 show after it was confirmed that Holly was one of the hosts of the BBC's new singing competition The Voice.
The pair will get a dry run at getting their on-screen chemistry just right before DOI, by presenting ITV1's star-studded Text Santa charity shows which they will kick-off with a live, one-hour special on December 11.
