Alesha Dixon says Strictly Come Dancing contestants are 'horny'

Alesha Dixon caused quite a stir on Alan Carr: Chatty Man last night. Appearing alongside her fellow Strictly Come Dancing judges Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, she swigged booze from the bottle and said some risqué things about how Strictly contestants are, more or less, “horny".

Each judge accepted a glass of rose from the comedian, and things got off to a calm enough start. But Alesha left Craig and Bruno to do the talking while she knocked the vino back.

When Bruno suggested that Alan should take a turn on the BBC show, she started to take notice, agreeing that he'd make a good job of it.

Then she garbled: “Everybody is really frisky on the show though, you’ve got to be honest.”
Just in case we didn’t get it, she elaborated:

“Everybody is horny – the year I was a contestant everyone was really gagging for it!”


Bruno took her glass off of her, insisting “no more drink for you!”

But Alan loved it, shrieking “This is chat show gold!” as he grabbed the wine bottle so he could refill the former Misteeq rapper’s glass.

She was already onto the case – ok , well, at least the bottle  – and barked “give me the bottle” at Alan. When he obliged, she swigged straight from it while Bruno and Craig giggled.

'I've never seen any boner'

To much applause from the audience, she continued: “As I was saying, eight to ten hours a day, rubbing up next to each other, of course you’re going to get a bit frisky!”
Bruno denied this claim, saying: “I’ve done it for nine years and I’ve never seen any boner.”

But Alesha quite rightly retorted, “Dancing is a very flirtatious sexual thing. Every year somebody gets together!” Which is pretty spot on. Last year, contestant Kara Tointon started a relationship with dancer Artem Chigvintsev, and Jimi Mistry hooked up with Flavia Cacace after appearing on the show.
