I'm A Celeb results! Dougie Poynter beats Mark Wright to become winner of 2011 series

McFly's Dougie Poynter beat The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright to win I'm A Celebrity tonight.

The boys developed a tender bromance, but only one of them could walk away as King Of The Jungle. 

'I'm the happiest boy alive,' Mark, 24, declared yesterday after finding out he and Dougie, 24, were the two finalists.

'Only one negative in this, I'm up against my boy, but he'll be a friend for life.'
After 22 days, Mark and Dougie had to take part in the last Bushtucker Trial - The Final Party, with fish eye, deer penis and ostrich anus on the menu.

By downing the disgusting offerings, they won a huge feast for their last night.
Mark was given a ‘cocropoliton' of blended cockroaches which made him retch, then Dougie downed a ‘bloody scary' glass of blended emu liver.

Poynter Felt Like 'empty Shell' Before Rehab

British boy band star Dougie Poynter has opened up about his stint in rehab, admitting he checked in because he loved drinking "just a bit too much".

It was widely reported that the McFly bassist checked into a clinic in March (11) to deal with personal issues stemming from his break-up from pop star Frankie Sandford. But speaking on U.K. reality show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, he admitted he was also seeking help for alcohol abuse.

Poynter told co-stars he loved drinking "just a bit too much" and felt like an "empty shell" before he was admitted for treatment. He recalls, "I felt sad all the time for, like, years of my life if I really think about it. I loved being by myself and getting battered (drunk)".
